Friday the 13th

Do you know that 2009 has quite a few Friday the 13th? As of March 2009, this is the second friday the 13th. Usually this day happens only once a year. Some people get amused on this day. There a lot of superstitions about Friday the 13th. They say that it is a sign of GOOD or BAD luck. A lot of people believe that unbelievable things happen on this day. I have a lot of stories of both ghosts and miracles but I have no idea if its true or not. Personally, good and bad luck may happen anytime. It doesn't really matter on what date or time or year...it would just happen. We make our own destiny. Even in the movie TWILIGHT, the character of Alice can see the future but it may still change depending if that person changed his mind or choose a different course. How about you? Do you have any Friday the 13th experience? Just a trivia for everyone. The fear of Friday the 13th is called paraskavedekatriaphobia which is a specialized form of triskaidekaphobia which is a simple fear of the number 13 (wow! thanks to wikipedia). |
