Living in the Modern World By Pretzel Gergon The world has become so modern to the point that everything that is happening around us is so different. When I was younger, I remember buying coca cola at Php 1.25 and now one bottle of the same 11 oz cost around Php 11.00 in small stores. Coke now comes in different forms and sizes. Coke in cans annd plastic bottles can be found everywhere. When I was younger, I remember having a big mobile phone with me. Prepaid plans are not available then. You need to pay a monthly service fee. I got a Plan 0 back then. I just pay for the minutes I have used. No text messages, no electronic load, or phone cards. Now almost everyone is on prepaid plan and the Philippines became the text messaging capital of the world. When I was younger, everything was so peaceful. Lesser cars, pollutants, and people. Technology has offered a lot to us. I can go on and on about the modern world. One thing for sure, we have learned a lot from it.
